Thank you for your interest in holding your event at the Nahant Life Saving Station.

 

The Nahant Life Saving Station can accommodate up to 100 quests. There may be up to 60 people seated at tables inside the station. For more than 60 guests, a tent must be rented and set up on the grounds.

The first step in the rental process is to fill out and submit the rental request form below. Once your request is received we will contact you to discuss availability and other details of your rental request.

Locking in a Date

A date is not reserved until NPT receives payment in full for the rental fee. To book a date at the Station, we need to receive from you:

• Payment in full of the rental fee and a $250 security deposit.

• The event rental contract, completely filled out, each page initialed and signed on the first page.

Boat Room & Grounds Hourly Rate

 
High Season / May - September

Saturday and Sunday
$1,500 up to four hours - $350 each additional hour

Monday - Friday*
$1,160 up to four hours - $300 each additional hour

Off Season / October - April

Saturday and Sunday
$1,200 up to four hours - $270 each additional hour

Monday - Friday*
$900 up to four hours - $220 each additional hour

* Friday Events Must End By 5 PM

Catering, Bartending and Waitstaff

 

The Nahant Life-Saving Station has partnered with a diverse list of local preferred caterers, who have made guarantees providing insurance and other protections that NPT needs. If you strongly wish to hire a caterer that does not appear on this list, NPT is prepared (if given enough time) to offer your caterer the opportunity to sign a catering contract with us. You are also able to hold an event that does not involve a caterer. All events serving alcohol must hire a licensed, insured bartender.

 

Rental Notes

1) You must allocate at least one hour for setup, and one hour for cleanup, which is the renters responsibility.

2) All rentals are subject to contract terms and approval, please use the online form above to ask questions or contact our Function Manager for more information. 

3) Events may begin no earlier than 8 AM, and may not end later than 9 PM if outside, or at 10 PM if inside.

4) The maximum number of people permitted for any event at the Nahant Life Saving Station, inside and out, is 100. There may be up to 60 people seated at tables inside the station. For more than 60 guests a tent must be rented, and Appleton Event Rentals has been designated as NLSS’s sole vendor for tent rentals. They can also provide for other rental needs such as, tables, chairs, linens, table settings, etc, at www.rlappleton.com.

5) Absolutely no buses or trolleys may be used to drop off or pick up people for private events.
