April 16th, 2011 Dedication Day

The American Legion Mortimer G. Robbins Post #215 in conjunction with the Nahant Veterans Association is pleased to announce the dedication of its new quarters at the newly renovated Life Saving Station located on Short Beach, Nahant.

The movement of the Post to the Life Saving Station is the culmination of many years of effort by the Town of Nahant, the Nahant Preservation Trust and the Nahant Veterans Association.

"The realization of this day is a triumph for all involved. Many hours of meetings and paper work had to be completed for this day to come. With the post dedication we will breathe long awaited life into the Life Saving Station and get back to our mission of serving Veterans and the Community in which we live" says Post Vice Commander Peter Przybycien.
